DeMarkes Dogan resides in Los Angeles. DeMarkes is originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina. He attended Wingate University on a football scholarship. While playing for Wingate University, he broke the All Time Tackle Record that hasn't been broke for 15 years prior. DeMarkes broke the record in three years. While in North Carolina, he hosted the syndicated TV Show, "The Smackdown." After graduation he auditioned and became a Top 10 Finalist on BET's Fresh Faces Search. Demarkes guest hosted BET's 106 & Park where he got the chance to interview the Black Eyed Peas. Two other finalist are now the current hosts of 106 & Park, Rocsi and Terrence Jenkins. DeMarkes moved to LA in late 2009 to bring his acting career to the next level. In a short time in LA Demarkes has remained active in both films and theater. DeMarkes recently was in the feature film, "Leave It On the Floor" where he both had a role in the movie as well as the soundtrack. He recently was mentioned in a recent LA Times article. "Leave It On the Floor" has been playing to sold out audiences around the US at film festivals. The film was directed by Sheldon Larry, whom directed Boston Public and Doogie Houser TV Shows. Demarkes also starred in the feature film, "Opus." Opus is produced by Brett Leonard. He is the director of The Lawnmower Man, Virtuosity, and Highlander: The Source. DeMarkes' most recent film is "Madoff: Made Off With America." He played the role of a Anthony, Johnson, News Anchor in the movie that is based off of Bernie Madoff. The film stars Tom Sizemore and Rachel Hunter.
